Advantages:
The primary function of a ladle is to serve soup into a dish and not on the tablecloth.
There fore the GastroMax ladle has very thin and sharp rims. This means that it is easy to cut off and avoid spill. The length and the angle of the handle are optimized to allow ladle to stay in the pot and not tilt over and to make serving handy.
The volume of the bowl is exact 1 dl - another practical measurement tool. Melting point 265C/509F.
