The people from GastroMax wanted to make a scoop with a good grip and easy to work with and with a fresh and modern design.
Advantages:
The scoop has two material, one hard for the scoop bowl, one soft for the handle.
There is a support for the thumb in the inside of the scoop handle which adds more power into the handle without costing extra energy.
The wide opening angle is chosen to achieve maximum release of the ice cream. Melting point 265C/509F.
